I have lived in the Denver Metro area most of my adult life (which I admit is more than a few years!) and have seen Denver grow for a cow town to a major metro area. I feel very fortunate to be able to live and work in this beautiful area and wonderful climate.
With my background in counseling, I enjoy using those skills to work with buyers or sellers to identify their priorities and goals. Then using my knowledge of the Denver real estate market help them find the ideal path for reaching those goals. It maybe a first-time buyer and guiding them towards low down payment programs and starter homes, an investor looking for high return on investment or a current homeowner looking to move up or downsize.
In addition to real estate and counseling experience, I worked with my husband over the years to build several homes. I have firsthand knowledge of construction practices and can often identify a situation that calls for consultation or a referral to an engineer or trades professional for a risk assessment before buying!
I came to Colorado from Nebraska after graduating from the University of Nebraska (yes, I am a Husker fan, but don't hold that against me!) to enjoy the amazing climate and landscape. My husband and I raised our 2 daughters here and now are enjoy seeing our 5 grandchildren grow. I am a passionate outdoor lover and enjoy hiking, running and biking in this amazing and beautiful Colorado country. But then I admit I also love to switch gears occasionally and run on a tropical beach!
